Did you forget it was Brian Dear's birthday on 18th September?
Strange Stag doesn't get the same attention as other West Ham legends, as he was undoubtedly the player more responsible than most for our greatest achievement in 1965,being top scorer in the ECWC when the great Geoff Hurst failed to find the net once in that particular tournament.
